Your Favorite Horror movie of all time

I think it's a worthy thread seeing "The Devils Rejects" thread had a few recommendations on other horrors.

If you are going to state movies that "mess" with yor mind as opposed to "downright scary", please be sure to state it in the thread.

The ONE movie that really messed with my mind was the Amittyville Horror (Remake). It wasn't scary but we watched it with all the lights in the house turned off and at one point, I was ready to turn it off.

There isn't a movie that has scared the youth out of me yet but Ju-On (Japanese version of the Grudge) is probably at the top of the list right now.

i never saw it, but i think Gigli looks scary as fuck. i definitely couldnt handle that one.

Did you watch the Japanese version Jan ? It's called Ju-On. The Grudge is nothing compared to the original.

I've been looking for it here K, but not hard enough I guess. I heard from a couple of peeps already that Ju-on is much better, so I def. want to see it.

I’m not really a fan of Sarah Michelle Gellar. Everytime I see her, I think cheesy Vampires.

Not a big fan but Shining has to be it for me. As a side note, the final scene in Creep Show gave me nightmares for about a decade when I saw it as a kid.
