Re: Getting a Treadmill
I know this sounds sort of lame, but head down to wal-mart and get one of these mini-trampolines for $20 and pocket 480-580 bucks. You can't beat it for the money and it has absolutely no adverse effects on your joints as jogging does. This may be the most efficient and cheapest excercise device ever invented. I admittedly use mine almost every day for 30-40 minutes. The same as the treadmill you don't have to worry about inclement weather outside and you can watch TV or listen to music while using it. I bought a $500 mountain bike a couple of months before getting one and I use the trampoline about 80% more. It will give you the same level of aerobic workout that the treadmill or bike will. It all depends on how hard you want to use it. Plus it takes up very little space for storage.
