    Digweed in Chicago 8.26

Well, I have been looking froward to going to this show since last year. My girl just got a new job however, that may prevent us from being able to make it.

Hopefully a few people from [ms] will be there.... i will be in spirit.

so anyway the show is at Sound Bar, a pretty wicked venue judging by the specs.

but soundbar is far from a wicked venue. everybody is caught up in it because it's new. that's all the place has going for it.

I haven't made it out to sound bar yet and it seems due to a change of plans I will definitley be there for this show.

What are some of the drawbacks about it Mark?

If I recall, there is a dance floor and VIP room on the main floor, and a dance floor down in the basement. If the top floor was just one dance floor, it would be a decent size. But the current layout makes the main floor simply too small.
One plus, though, is you will never wait too long for a drink: soundbar has about as much bar space as it does dance space :?
          Hope to see you there.

Sounds more like a top 40 bar than a venue suitable for the likes of John digweed. The congress was a great venue when he came through last year although the turnout was surprisingly sparse; this would explain why pure booked out a smaller venue this time around.

I am equally stoked to hear Desyn. I have a heard a number of great things about him but have yet to hear him play.
