Should I go see Gabriel & Dresden

They are coming Sept. 25th here in Chicago, I heard thier mixes, but never seen them, what do you guys think. They usually play anywhere from Prog. house to trance.

I would go check them out. Josh has been mixing using abelton live for over a year now layering loops and remixing real time with a laptop.

I saw them in Houston earlier this year and the show was ok imo. They played a lot of their remixs and big hits like ATRC and Beautiful Things which the trance e-addicts loved.

I deleted the recent GDJB set after 15 minutes...that's a shame, I used to love anything Gabriel and/or Dresden (e.g., Attention Deficit).

i'd go see them. even though i'm not a huge fan anymore, i used to pay a lot of attention to their music. i've seen dave play twice and he didn't disappoint. i'd go if i hadn't seen them before.

I agree with the previously mentioned comment that most of their set is their own remixes. So if you like those then you'll like them. Imo I think they've gone a bit cheesy in the last year. The other thing I remember about seeing them is a lot of loooong breakdowns.

I'd go see them. Some years ago, they used to play the best progressive music IMO... altough haven't heard much from them lately.

If I was you I definetly go, I heard some sets of them and was very cool, I never heard him live but all the shows I've been there was amazing so I think that party would be great.
