Has hotmail cleaned up its act?

I have not checked my hotmail account in 2 days. When I logged in today this is the message I got when I checked my mail........................ There are no messages in this folder.

NO SPAM WHAT-SO-EVER

I have gone a few days before without checking it and I had like 75 new spam mails.

I do not know what I am going to do if I do not have to delete 10-15 spam emails a day. :?

Maybe they have but can anyone tell me why i have never recieved any spam in my hotmail account at all since i signed up for it 2 years ago?

I heard hotmail uses spews to blacklist loads of inbound IPs, i guess it also helps not having something like my_real_name@hotmail.com, or using it to subscribe to porn all the time

I`d rather get some e-mail on how to make my breasts bigger rather than have some machette weilding nutjob attack me on the motorway at 9 in the morning, or spend 5 hours in the accident and emegency dept afer an unfortunate incident after a night out on the narcotics.

yeah, I think it all depends on what you've used it for on the web. Even using it when buying clothes, cds, etc can lead to spam.

hotmail is trying to compete with gmail...they're increasing the amount of disc space to 250mb, as well.

I had all my mails deleted on hotmail last month, and heard of other people having the same problem last week. They're doing something in there...

I have my Hotmail account only because of the MSN messenger (when I registered first a hotmail account was mandated to run MSN) and I get a shitload of spam mails everyday though I hardly use the account. But I got none for the last 2 days as well and last week only 3. :o That?s a record for them and I hope it continues this way.
