    Re: Sasha NSWF

Ive not heard the set from GG yet but look who was on before & who was on after him......It was never going to his finest hour.

I had my doubts before going on Thursday night, As he was poor in NYC with JOhn but he rocked it in there. Top top stuff, no rock covers, no dodgy over use of the efx. Just proper big basslines, dirty drug music.

Best set Ive heard since Diggers on NYE at Avalon. It was that good.

            Re: Sasha NSWF

not directed at anyone in particular, but what exactly makes a dj "suck" or "poor"
what the fuck do you expect them to do up there? administer blowjobs and money to everyone in the club whilst spinning (or in sasha's case drag-n-clicking) tunes.

seems like everyday i read a post where someone says "this dj was horrible" or "that dj was the worst ever"
you guys are putting them on too high of a pedastal (sp?)
they are only humans playing music for you to dance to.

all this criticism is turning out scene sour imo.

again this isnt directed towards anyone, just a generalization.

I agree.....it is to the point where it is "cool" to bash DJ's. They are human just like the rest of us people and they can't please every person in the room

IMHO Sasha's set from Space (sunrise on the patio) was heads and shoulders above any of the other recordings I heard from this year's conference. Just listened to it today as a matter of fact. Put that on your t-shirt

i have some friends that said they didn't like the mix that much blah blah blah

but only if they could have been there to experience it they would be singing a different tune
