I'll look into some places tho regardless I have a friend who had a pretty dope situation at this Hostel-ish place but it was in the East Village (good location) and it had ur own bedroom with TV and bathroom.

I got a room three weekends agao through hotels.com for the Edison Hotel on 47th and Broadway. It only cost $125 (incl. tax) an night, which is a killer deal for the city. It was a 3 star hotel, however the room was small and didnt offer a good view. I would recommend it for a great place to stay for budget travellers. Way better than some shit ass hourly hostel / hotel or motel 6, plus your are right there in mid-town.

**However, I just looked for that same hotel and they wanted $220 / night. Stupid that prices can fluxuate that much in such a short time. Just check out hotels.com and you will see plenty within your price range.
