i actually saw this exact place yesterday, when i was driving, it dosnt look that bad, its on noe bixby which is a fairly busy street, but the complex looked lowkey as hell. I'm really suprised that much crime goes down there. thats wild.
forgot to mention that if it makes you feel any better, i live less than 1 mile from the place your thinking of moving to and no crime really occurs in my townhome complex, but you will see people smoking blunts by the pool and other kinds of foolery.
HELL YEA. Cant belive those dumb bitches are suspended for th FSU game. Moore and Moss? WTF? Charlie Jones will pick it up tho
back to the thread. I wouldn't live there if you paid me. You would think if they want you to go to school there so bad they would do better than that.
your definatly not overreacting...i would not live there if i was you....especially if you got a decent car....you know that one morning you will wake and find your rizzide stolen...its happeend to me before in the ghetto.

Yeah I was a bit surprised myself... Given that the info was on the Columbus Police Department and had things like the officer's name and the victim's name and date and so on, I was left to assume that that info is accurate. There are some nice areas very close by...although a few blocks over things can also get a bit rough... Dunno. Still waiting to hear back from OSU. I'd be thrilled to get somewhere else just bc it's a zillion miles out in the middle of nowhere.
Dude I can't believe they put you over there...and hell I didn't know it was that bad over there. Hibernia is/was supposed to be a nice place. Guess it's gone way downhill.
Try Clintonville as a place to live. there are plenty of rented houses up there and it's right up north of campus off of high street.
UPDATE: So, I heard back from OSU. They offered me another place for my housing award...WAYYYYY far east of Columbus, way outside the outerbelt. Technically in Reynoldsburg, but practically in fricken Pataskala (small town east of C-bus). Crime will not be an issue. Of course, it's going to feel like I'm doing a cross state commute to school every morning.
What is these peoples' major malfunction?? Are they that dumb and don't realize that with where they put me, OSU campus is like 2 counties away?? Or do they just get some perverse pleasure in minimizing any possibility of convenience in this arrangement...
it's not two counties away. it's the same county. licking county doesn't start until you reach out where I am. that is really stupid of them to do that? there is plenty of cheaper housing around the campus area that has not been rented yet.
^^ Right you are...I'm getting a bit carried away. The place itself is actually very nice. I'll make a choice by tomorrow, and I know that wherever I end up, I'll accept it and make the best of it. But yes, you're also right about there being lots of decent, similarly priced housing that would make a lot more sense for a student... oh well.
btw, listening to your March promo mix...good stuff
