    computer / serato problem

    this happened for the first time today. i was playing and whenever i hit a cue button on my computer
    (macbook) the song that is playing cuts out for a fraction of a second. whenever i touch the pad songs glitch as well.

    its a band new computer, i have an apple macbook. serato version 1.4 and i use cdj1000mk2.. what do you think is happening??

    What player do you use for your music? Can you go and select the main driver/file on a Mac and then switch it back to the proper one?

      it glitches when i use serato scratch live.. i use itunes as my library and serato read that... i just came home and had it turned off for 8 hrs and it is still doing it

        from the serato board:

        On some of the MacBook Pros, Scratch LIVE will have USB dropout problems on one USB port, but not others. If you are having problems with USB dropouts on your MacBook Pro, try connecting your Scratch LIVE interface to a different USB port.

        Several users have reported that the dropouts are particularly bad when using the trackpad. We have alerted Apple to this problem. On some of the MacBook Pros, Scratch LIVE will have USB dropout problems on one USB port, but not others. If you are having problems with USB dropouts on your MacBook Pro, try connecting your Scratch LIVE interface to a different USB port.
