How would you react if digweed started playing trance?
hahhaa. what if he dropped sandstorm darude in the middle of a set
Or even...dare I say...Darude - Sandstorm
I've never heard of Sandstorm Darude...enlighten me.
the thing people seemt o be forgetting is that even of stereotypical trance, there are tracks that are pretty good... and djing shoudlnt be confined to one genre... albeit, most djs play a certain genre more than anything else... but i be if digweed went to trance, we would have some sick sets.. just like if sasha were to do a drum and bass mix... its in the artist .. not in the track selection.
why did i qoute the above?
face it... the reason everyone hates that track is because it got so overplayed (and is still being so!)... but back when it was still in promo? i remember hearing it in a van dyk set somewhere.. and it worked. it fit.. and it rocked. diggers could probably make that happen again.
Re:: How would you react if digweed started playing trance?
i say let the man play what he wants, i'll listen to it as long as he does it right. If there is anyone who can play trance and do a wonderful job of it, digweed could do it. Trance, D&B, breaks....whatever just give the man time and he would be the best at any style of music.
