Re: 75 Clothing (My Company) is almost live...

well they are not prints for one. they are quality silk screens that are very well made. I am in the process of trying to grow a company, and I couldn't start out by bringing three or four designs to market...that would kinds kill the idea behind the limited editions marketing and also kill my funding that I had to do to pay for this run.

    CREDO:

We are a small clothing boutique working in Columbus Ohio. We design clothing for a new breed of fashion conscious maven who likes to feel that the clothing he/she wears has a personal attachment with themselves. Clothing that feels to them as if it were personally made just for them. We are looking for those on the cutting edge of fashion, who would rather be a trend-setter instead of a trendroid.

As you can tell, our sense of self branding is about inverting all of life. Turning it on it's edge and making something new from that. Our brand is about exclusivity that only a select amount of people will be able to enjoy the world over. We look forward to building a family out of you who make our company what it is. We want you to know that when you purchase one of our shirts, you can rest assured that there is a good chance that you will be the only one within a fifty mile radius that will be wearing one of these shirts.

Our company has built a different breed of clothing line that demands a new breed of wearer. Our shirts are built in very limited amounts that will sell out very quickly.
Everything you see designed onto our shirts will be printed inverted...which becomes a new way of looking at fashion, you will quickly become the one people look at when they see you, which may take some time getting used to it. We will let you know when the new lines of shirts will be up for sale so you may purchase one for yourself.
We have already risen the bar of fashions to new and uncharted heights. We hope you will enjoy the ride...and remember to.....LIVE INVERTED!!!!!!!

I do believe there is a company out there that has been for years Called A BAthing Ape. And Almost all they made for years was silk screened t-shirts. And look at where they are now.

And I don't want to be on the cutting edge, that just means you could be cut out tomorrow.

          I never knew:

A Bathing Ape's success has earned Nigo, the creator of Bape, a Lamborghini, an Aston Martin, a Bentley Continental Mulliner Edition, a Ferrari 360 Modena, Hummer H2, Rolls-Royce Phantom in Bape camo colors and a home valued at $30 million in Tokyo's plushest area Roppongi Hills. He has diamond grills. He is also in collaboration with Pharrell on his clothing line called Billionaire Boys Club. Nigo has also designed Pharrell's shoe line Ice Cream Footwear in collaboration with Reebok.

It was fun while it lasted...

That dude is set up, he's got a hood ornament from Jacob the jewler that costs half of what his phantom cost. And all from a start of selling a few shirts.

Samne thing with Marc Ecko. He began by just doing airbrushing on jean jackets. Gave one to Michael Bivens of Bell Biv DeVoe and now look at him.

It all starts with a dream and a little persistance.

I too like a t-shirt to fit well. there are companies out there that sell them pretty cheaply as well, like american apparel. Or, for those who have a problem w/ the company and/or quality, there's http://www.alternativeapparel.com/

good luck though, I dig the design.

The best of luck man, but I gotta agree with geoff. If you want to hit the market, do it with a bang instead of a dry run. Hanes shirts are just Hanes shirts no matter what technique you use to print.

Yup, sounds harsh, but I'm playing a bit advocate of the devil.

First of all, I think you need to work on your corporate image. For example: you tell the world about your new hot line on MySpace? Dude, do yourself a favour and pm Kamal for some basic webhosting. A decent website isn't that expensive and it makes a world of difference compared to a spot on SlutCity.com. A friend of mine started to design lingerie from her own atelier and sold it at her house. Yup, she's on MySpace as well, but just check out http://www.lafilledo.com/index2.html and find the 7 differences... Anyway, thanks to that image and design, Murielle is kicking ass with her line.

Right, design... That's another thing. Tell me why I should spend $40 on a standard shirt with an inverted print which no one in town/50 mile radius will have? I just got back from Macedonia and I got me this local whatever brand shirt you see in the pic.

For half the price I have a shirt no one in the EU has... (radius 1.500 mile) Ok, production might be cheaper there, but they also cut on costs by recycling cloth into a new design which you won't find in the shops. I think you create more exclusivity by designing something unique in near unique numbers than by offering 100 brandname shirts. Bottom line: if you want to position yourself as designing "a different breed of clothing line that demands a new breed of wearer", you will find yourself at the exact same spot as today after you've sold your stock. Imo that would be a damn waste of enthousiasm which you abundantly have...

When do they hit ebay? I'm curious to watch the mad bidding.

Well the shirts will be on ebay within the next day or two. I'm getting some loose ends tightened up. And then they will be released.

I don't need web hosting, as I've already got tons of it @ www.seventyfiveclothing.com

This is a company of exclusivity...and the shirts are not hanes, they are made from Gilden. A company which makes very high quality cotton shirts. The same thing as if you were to purchase A Bathing Ape shirt...just without all those extra tage that come with their shirts.

And I don't need to tell you why you should buy one at all. That is for you to make up your mind. I'm not here to make up your mind for you...i leave that to MTV.

And yes a bunch of Ecko clothing is on the clearance rack, but if you noticed...those are the clothing from their last season.
