i thought that the editing in that photo was so obvious that it had to be a joke. if anybody took any more than a passing glance at that photo and didn't think it was edited, they need their eyes checked. like, they guy just used the spot healing tool or the clone stamp.

and, as if there needed to be any more smoke inserted into the picture...

Little Green Footballs, Michelle Malkin and the EU referendum blogs, to name just a few, have been exposing for weeks the way the media has either been manipulated or complicite in the manipulation of images coming out of the Lebanon.

Dear sir/madam

This morning, I saw the pictures taken by your photographers in Qana, Lebanon.

Somewhat later, I come across this website: http://eureferendum.blogspot.com/2006/07/milking-it.html

Being a former journalist myself, I find this quite disturbing. Not in the least because I've always considered Reuters as a landmark in journalism.

I wonder how this can be explained. This clearly is a problem of reality versus perception and I would like to know the position of Reuters.

dont trust me, i just read alot, so i can converse at a basic level with dave. he is there, you have a question , ask him.

again, on the answer of what can we do... well, we could take this info to everyone that had thier opinions altered by a liar, making isreal look like monsters. no one is covering the refugees who left southern lebanon and openly came out with the info that hezzbollah actually walks into homes, essentially holds the people hostage while they stage attacks from people's rooftops.... or why they gather children of sympathetic families to them when they stage ground attacks... or why the same guy has been seen dead in about a dozen photos. (that last one was on BBC about 2-3 evenings ago here in NYC, they exposed photos released by hezzbollah and syrian outlets where the same guy was in over 20 photos, in different areas, sometimes dead, sometimes crying over the dead bodies, sometimes acting the militant.)
