That?s right, little over a month after World Cup 2006, the football craze returns.

And I?m gonna open one for the Champions League soon, too!

Anyway, I?d like to dedicate my 1st post to KinkyJ...well done on drawing 1-1 at home against Kazakhstan (or whatever it?s called), what a great start!

Now England, that?s different : winning 4-0 up against Greece, even if it was a friendly, is an awesome start for McClaren. Notice Lampard scoring one and Terry another. And btw, hate to tell you "I told you so", but he put Downing in the starting 11 (something which I said Eriksson should have during the WC, go check the thread). Also Defoe was in the starting eleven.

The first few minutes of the game were like deja vu for some reason.

I guess it wouldn't be too appropriate for the German fans to yell "Bliiiiiiiitzkreig!" anytime the team scored in the first 15 minutes.
