So I get a call last night from one of my "best" friends wife. She says it's about him and I immediately think he's been in an accident or something and she proceeds to tell me that he's ok but she "found" something in the house and will I meet her to discuss whatever it is she "found". I say sure thinking it's a phone number on a napkin or a letter, a note or just something like that as I can tell she's quite upset. Well, it turns out it's nothing like that. My buddy has a rather large working area in the basement of their home and has various tools, sports stuff and crap. He also has a large storage closet (about 15x20) where he "keeps" his mountain bikes and other stuff locked up. The wife hadn't been in the "storage" room since about a year and a half after they moved in because that was her husbands junk and he liked to keep it locked up and he would tinker in the work area outside of it. Well..... he apparently left it unlocked one day earlier this week and while she was downstairs doing laundry saw that the light was on underneath the door and that it wasn't shut all the way. So she goes to turn off the light and shut the door and what does she find? Yes, his mountain bikes and tools but also a huge shrine of posters, pictures, magazines, etc on the walls and on a desk of Angelina Jolie... not just pictures mind you but notes, poems and unmailed letters (hundreds of them, yeah, shoebox's full of them) professing his love for her and his disdain and hate of one Mr Brad Pitt. There's a journal, a laptop with films, pictures etc of only her. To top it all off there's a cd marked "angelina and me" that was on the desk that when played is a whole bunch of dialog from film and interviews cut and pasted together using his name and her "talking to him" (things like "i love you' and "touch me" etc).... basically a masturbation cd... Now, I haven't talked to him and she just closed the door and has basically acted as if she doesn't know a thing (not well I may add). So is this a harmless obsession or some totally freaked out stalker wack job.... I'm still trying to process all the info in my own mind.... Personally I find it fucking disturbing as hell. and no, he doesn't come to this website so he's not going to see this.

OMG....uhhh that is beyond weird. I think this guys "obsession" is a little much. I don't know how the wife hasn't spoken up about what she saw...I would havesigpic

yep..... i didn't want to even type this but I couldn't go around with this stuck in my head in all honesty. the audio cd is pretty much the icing on the freakshow cake. ... She's apparently going to go stay with her parents while she figures out what the hell to do. I was supposed to see this guy tonight at the pub and I'm bailing big time. I've heard and seen some crazy shit in my lifetime but it was always "someone else's" friend or family member..... seriously, I'm dizzy just thinking about this. yikes."only dead fish swim with the stream..." Ok, words like freakshow and sick are in place here, but it wouldn't be fair towards your friend to treat him like a freak. It's obvious the guy needs help from his friends and family now more than ever. That's the main point to focus on I think.Comment
