Re: [REQUEST] Leftfield Recordings
1994-08-06 - EM - Leftfield (Restoration).mp3
INFO:
"Welcome to this weekends Essential Mix where tonight Im joined by Paul and Neil better known as Leftfield who's last single of course was the awesome collaboration with John Lydon. But tonight the boys take on a different role providers of two essential hours in the mix featuring many of their own unique Hard Hands creations........Standby"
This is the original broadcast of the Leftfield Essential Mix transmitted on 6th August 1994, restored to its full 2 hour glory and unashamedly unedited to include the News.
The very early Essential Mixes were split into 3 parts because they had two two news bulletins. (not like today)
12.00 am to 12.30 am would be part 1
12.32 am to 01.30 am would be part 2
01.32 am to 02.00 am would be part 3
Now this is also a Restoration of the Tracklist because the tracklist thats floating around the Web didnt look quite right to me so I've done some research and found it to be full of errors. I have now put that right and the tracklist is more healthy than it was before. There are only two tracks to ID and the one has really bugged me because I have that tune somewhere but after hunting for a few hours to find it, I had to admit defeat (Track 29 in part 2)
This is how the show was originally Broadcast.
