    David Guetta is a...

    ... pathetic wanker!

Saw him yesterday at Mysteryland and yes, it was yet another let down after a lousy set earlier this year at La Rocca. His 2005 Essential Mix was bliss, but when the tosser takes the decks at a party... Well, run for the hills.

This time he didn't miss beatmatches or didn't blank out the music three or four times by pushing the wrong button (like he did at La Rocca), but his sets are so boring. Every set has "The world is mine" in it, followed by a shitload of pumped up 70's - 80's hits (Funky town 'n' the likes). And will someone please tell him that you shouldn't put in a break in practically every single record?!!!

Might be a good producer, but as a DJ, he ... well, let's not make this thread nsfw, shall we?

tell us how you really feel. i can agree about his track "the world is mine" i stopped listening to his radio fg sets because every one of them had that track on it. played out doesnt even begin to describe that tune.

well, in short: played out is the adjective which goes for all of his live sets. Flowing of the success of a few tunes that hit the charts and the "singalong" factor of classic hits with a beat makes him even worse than Tiësto... cheapo, bleh!

Perhaps that stage had something to do with it.

I saw him last fall and I enjoyed his set. Sure he was cheesy at times, but the overall vibe of the party was awesome.

Maybe he should spend less time in the gym and styling his hair, and more behind the decks.

His set at La Rocca was the turnpike for me. Without exagerating, he pulled the following shit that night:
                          - Several missed beatmaches (Oh please, what are you? A bedroom DJ?)
                          - Three times blanking out the sound (And then he just stands there grinning like a retard. "Oops, I fucked up")
                          - Playing three tunes in a row in exactly the same order and with exactly the same transitions as he did in his 2005 EM (Starting at Just a little more love. What was that? A prerecording?)

The above could happen to anyone (let's cut him some slack), but when your ego is big enough to carry a box of records and people pay €25 at the door... Nah, earn your money instead of charging for your name or get lost.
