The update was succesful. Besides benefits included in the new version for Administrators/mods here are the most interesting new user options that came with the upgrade:
Multi Quotes
You can quote several postings even from separate pages - makes long speeches and useless comments easier
The option is available in any thread on the right next to the Edit and Quote button. Right now the icons are ugly and look like this but they will be replaced soon.
if you see this icon, you did not choose the particular posting for a multiquote
If you click on the icon, it turns red and is marked. You can choose more postings now and even go to next or previous pages and when you are done, hit reply and all postings you have picked will be quoted in the order you have marked them.
Check the original posting in a quote
Threads with a lot of pages are hard to browse. Sometimes if you see a quote from you are curious and you would like to continue from where the original post was sent or want to know what was posted after iut. Without a need to scan through several pages, you can now just click on this little button right next to the where the username of the person you quote is printed -->
and it takes you automatically to the position of the original posting.

Buddy list
The buddy list (accessable through your Control Panel "User CP" on the top orange Menu most left entry) now loads faster and when you put somebody on your buddy or ignore list (ignoring means you will never see any postings anymore from that person) you can type in the beginning of the name and the board checks for matching users which makes creating a buddy or hate list easier and faster.
E-Mail notifications
If you have chosen in your User CP to receive an E-Mail if somebody sent you a personal message (PM) the E-Mail will include the title and the body of the PM so you can recognize faster if it is important or not.
