Re: So how was your summer??

Well I've just come out of winter. The spring weather hit Sydney here like clockwork and it's been nothing but sunshine so far.

So I'll change the question a little... How was my winter?

Well I'm glad you asked! I had a trip to Thailand for 2 weeks to enjoy their summer. Awesome times. I love that place. I'll definately be back my fair share of times.

Then went back to work for a couple of weeks, and then I was off again for a week's worth of skiing in New Zealand. I'd never holidayed with this bunch of mates before and I'd been dying to get away with them. Simply put, it was a rocking trip.

That's about all I got up to. The cold didn't get to me too much this time around, but boy am I glad summer is just around the corner. Now, to shed off my winter kilos. :/

Anyone got any good dieting tips for a lazy dude like me?

^^ Nice work DG, that is how to do summer, being outside and enjoying it

Mine was good, but I didn't get outside quite as much as I normally do. The weather was shit for the past two weeks (cold and rainy) so that kind of put a damper on the summer, it's felt more like fall. Other misses include not having a golf membership this year, not mountain biking as much as last year, and only making to the shore a handfull of times.

On the positive side, I did play a lot of tennis, I got to enjoy some good times in my new car (S2000) and most of all my girlfriend moved in with me and we had a blast.

So all and all a great past several months, BUT not as "summery" as I would like. But there is still a month left and Sept is the best month of the year, so I hope to make the most of what's left.

Mine was unusual this year - since I was little I used to spend 2+ months in our summer house in Croatia and since my parents sold the house I'm a bit confused how to plan a holiday by the seaside without having my own house to go to so I decided to work the whole time and it was worth it - earned quite a lot of money!

Anyways I decided to take some time off at the end of September going to Egipt, cant wait actualy!

Mine was unusual too. I started to travel all over my country and met many all kind of people. I was traveling because Oxfam hired me to do some activist job in small towns near the city I live so, it was an awesome summer.

Sucked for me too. No holidays because of extreme exam terror at uni, girlfriend is off to peru for two months, had an oral exam this morning (i passed, woohoo!) which gave me stomach aches, sleepless nights and worries for weeks. Can't wait 'til exam period is over and i can relax myself for a few days before semester starts over with full effect, the next year is gonna be even harder. student life = no fun.
