    Tracklistings and cuesheets

    Hello,
How come playlists are updated so poorly...? For example Hernan Cattaneo Metrodance 95.1 FM show playlists are as old as from 2006-07-29 Does anyone know why?
Now i am steering at my monitor thinking to download or not the last set from Hernan, because it is of no use for me if i don't have the playlist, as i love to know who's the artist i am listening to.

    Re: Tracklistings and cuesheets

thats the first time I've heard that someone wants to download a set based on the playlist....what if the recent mixes have been absolutely brand new unreleased / unknown tunes which are incredible?

Are you not going to download it ?

I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me

Yes, i would download it, if i know for sure it is a great set. Usually such sets are being recommended one way or the other.
Basically, if the track-listing isn't interesting i am not going to spend my bandwidth to download that set.

If you can spot any tracks of Hernan's Metrodance sets, pass them over via PM and I will gladly post them. I take the tracklists from Hernan's website but Hernan posts his tracklists most of the time weeks after the shows were aired either because he is too busy touring or he does not want the names to be posted in public too soon. I know 1 from 100 tracks he uses in his mixes at the time he plays them and so far, nobody EVER gave me a track id to post so I guess it is the same for everybody else.

Also and most important there is a 2nd page for 2006 with the August tracklists so please take a closer look. I just saw the tracklist for 8/26 and 9/02 is posted on Hernan's site so you can decide whether you want to download it or not soon because I post it them now here as well. The rest was updated anyway but as I said....on page 2.

Some got me wrong. I had no idea Hernan is playing mostly new unreleased tracks.
Thanks for the tip, i will check playlist page closer. Can you give me Hernan's website link?
              My apologies.
              Thanks.

                  My recommendation in all cases...

                  1. If you might like it, download it.
                  2. Listen to it.
                  3. If it sucks, ERASE IT from your computer/network.
                  4. Repeat as desired.

If you have a decent speed internet service, chances are you will survive the financial impact.

                  Best of luck.

^ What he said - I'm goign through a load of old Hernan shows on my iPod and deleing the ones that aren't 100% brilliant, just to make space. Most of the sets I have are damn good though...........

One thing to keep in mind though, I don?t know if this happens over at where az0000000 lives, but in my country our ISP?s enforce monthly limits for "international" traffic.

Nowadays it?s pretty decent because that limit is 60GB/month, but only 2 years ago, that limit was 2GB/month!

I?ll download a set by a DJ I like with tracklist or no tracklist, but some people might not be able to afford downloading sets and then deleting them.
