I remember that day perfectly, every detail...i was in complete shock and remember not feeling comfortable with the idea of "going out" and partying (i was in college then) for months after...I also remember all of the flags and feeling a new sense of patriotism for my country. Septs 11th changed soo much for soo many...anyway, its tough to articulate the feelings I feel when I think back on Sept. 11th...I'd almost rather not

I was in america on Sept. 11.. Ended up in NYC on the 14th.. Lets just say the aftermath was a scary thing to see, I'll never forget it thats for sure.Comment

i don't even know what to say. its unbelievable to me how much hatred there is in the world.
i still can't really look at pictures/videos/accounts of 9/11 without tearing up, and i was in MA when it happened. i can only imagine what it was like in NYC.
thoughts out to everyone who was hurt by it, directly or not.Comment

ya, definitely a sad anniversary.
check out cnn.com...they are running the complete broadcast as it happened that day. pretty erie to watch it again.

i couldn't watch that again.
there is a youtube video of a man's 911 call in the first tower with the video feed...he is still on the line as it falls. very upsetting.Comment

watching that cnn thing too, after 2nd plane hit i had to turn it off for a moment... laid down and felt like i was gonna throw up, had to take some tums... now almost finished wi th part 2.... watching the collapse is jsut surreal.....
plus the documentary that the 2 french brothers did (9|11)was on last night... probably the best documentary ill ever see.. just wow....

ya my cousin was in one of the buildings directly next to tower 1, and had the debris from the plane hit come through his window. He ended up carrying is 6 month pregnant secretary away from the plume of dust as the first tower collapsed.
He has only talked to me about it once, and it was pretty brief. He mainly said he thought the world was ending, and that it has made him appreciate his life much more than he ever did before.
damn proud of him...he is back working right next door to ground zero. can't let those bastards win...Comment

i listened to howard all day today. crazy & sucks to relive it with facts being told over the radio before i had access to the tv coverage.
this is probably one of the 1st "where were you when you heard..." moments of my life. definetely will not be forgotten.Comment
