... that last sentence really got me going euhmmmm. She doesn't know what the rent is and what the place looks like, but she seems desperate to get it... Or is that the way it goes in NY? If I was looking for a place I'd first ask the price, then the description and then I'll let you know if I'm interested.

I'm currently in the middle of the application procedure for Erzina's visum for the EU, so I know the most important conditions for that are 1) a place to stay (like proof of a hotel reservation) 2) either enough money to survive during your stay and travel back to your own country (or someone in the country who can back that up for you) and 3) medical insurance for a min. of 30.000 euro during your stay to cover possible hospitalisation and repatriation.
Don't you have to have a job in the US to get a green card? Dunno what the conditions are...Comment
