alex, you can spin the best of them, but no one can properly mix a track that doesnt have some base beats at both ends. pole folders edit of imagine would be a good one to mention. hard to drop that one into a beat. or that wicked tune from lostep with the guitar riffs and FUCKED up breakbeat.... its a toughie too. i mean, ppl can go the oakie route and play the instrumental sections where there is no beat into each other or drop opera vocals in between songs that arent mixable, but a solid foundation for at least a minute is really needed to have a good flowing mix. ppl who disagree should go listen to PVD's mix cd where one song is 128 bpm and then he waits for the breakdown instrumental and mixes a song at 138 bpm.
