      Re: yoga

I've been doing yoga for about 5 years now and I think I'll never stop!
Its true there are many different types of yoga as lilm said (wellcome to MS btw) but the type modern world is practicing is a physical kind – hatha yoga. The ultimate goal is meditation and becouse a modern man got disconnected from a natures way of living through centuries there is a physical way to boost your mind into position where the meditation can begin. Sounds scarry but believe me its not!

First thing yoga teaches you is how to breathe correctly then breathe-thorugh your body in a series of still poses called asanas – every position tends to encourage circualtion of blood around your spine and inner bodies – whilst doing that your mind is concentrated on your breathing – for me this was the most difficult part trying not to think of anything else (your mind tends to wonder but you have to keep it empty) – anyways after awhile you start noticing the differencies – your mind/temper calms down, your muscles get stronger – not bigger, your concentraton level is much higher than ever before, you loose weight and your metabolism speeds up. Theres a lot more to be said about yoga but my english is not that good so I'll leave you to research on you own.

However there are groups of people that are taking things further than necessary and form cults „who eat nothing but shit grown in dirt“ - I'd be spooked by them aswell.

Bottom line – yoga is a great excercise and it will give you great results. Just give it a try and you'll see.

Music is essential for the expression of non material ideals and energies. Music colors our surroundings with emanations from the highest vibrational fields. It allows us to escape all limitations in our thinking and very existence.

Qwerty, no offence, but I'm getting a serious wtf experience when I read this thread. If you ask me, you should forget about that girl. She might be hot and exotic and what not, but you're piling up doubts and objections from beginning to end.

Perfect recipe for a ride downhill imo...
