In the mean time the junta spoils itself with more power. New political parties are forbidden, the current ones can't organise anything anymore and the junta has entitled itself with the right to make laws. Also the top dogs of the police and decret service have been fired.

... makes me wanna go "hmmmmm", but the population still seems to approve, so then it's all good for me I guess...

There is no coup d'état that comes without some housecleaning Jan...though I agree in keeping a very watchful eye. On the the other hand, I think I've never heard of a coup with so much domestic and foreign support which has been so peaceful...It's still a bit bizarre to me
