The Bush Administration stopped the US giving South Africa medical assistance because we allow abortions, and stopped military assistance because we were against the Iraq war. Petty actions to a real US friend.

Why does South Africa need medical assistance from the USA? Maybe if the South African government didn't blow Billions of Rands on parties they would have enough money not to need assistance

eh, yes. The presidents inauguration for one, that was a fucking joke. Poverty is rife and there are people who go with no running water or electricity or with no real home, unless you call a tin shack a home? and the government spends all those millions for a party

I'm not going to say I like Bush, but I know more people who will probably end up voting for him then Kerry. And I still think Bush will probably win.

As for me, I just dislike Kerry more, but not enough to justify a vote for Bush.

I tried to stay away but when I was taken to a party where you could hear the dark, tribal, minimal music for MILES away, in nature, with everyone around a campfire, you learn to appreciate the experience. Very spiritual.

Besides that, I stay in the city and hang out in all the clubs

With respect matey, i find your comments somewhat disturbing.

First off if you read the orginal post by Delirious you will see a final line in nice bold print pointing out that the resume is nothing more then a joke. Why are you taking it so seriously?

Secondly, when people bash Kerry in a similar fashion that seems to be ok with you. Whys that? Does this not smell of hypocrasy?

Thirdly, the nature of politics is that people always lie. Well maybe lie is too strong a word, lets try embelish the truth. It happens in every democracy.

Fourthly, I've said this before, and i'll say it again, in the run up to elections, the role of the opposition is to discredit the ruling party. The are two ways this can be achieved; either by attacking a political record or by attacking the politician. The opposition doesnt really care, you see all they want is enough doubt in the electorates mind NOT to re-elect the incumbant.
Now, it could be argued, that an opposition that attacks the personal qualiaties, or lack of, of the incumbant might be doing to hide the fact that they have nothing really new to offer the electorate, i guess thats one way of looking at it.

Finally, on a personal note i'm not an american, i can't vote. Although my personal politics lean slightly to the left, i dont think, internationally speaking, that Bush has been so bad for the world (I can't talk about how he's been for America i'm just not that informed!), but i'm also not convinced that Kerry will be so bad. We're living in an age where the lines of politics are being continually redrawn with a blurring between centre left and right in most countries.

I don't really have a huge problem with his international policy in the abstract, although I think his judgment was clouded when it came to Iraq, which led to that policy being poorly implemented.

IMHO, it is here in the States that Bush has really failed. His domestic policies have been to favor big business over individuals at pretty much every turn. The number of people without health insurance has risen from 4 million to 44 million during his adminstration, job growth is pitiful, and the stock market is lower today than it was when he took office -- I'm pretty sure that is a first. Today, new overtime provisions went into effect that will allow employers to avoid paying overtime to millions of Americans. He's taken liberties with our civil liberties, allowing unprecedented government intrusion into our lives as citizens. Crazy shit here -- I really, really can't wait to see him go.
