Re: Do you hate your job?
I love my job since I got my own business on the road (I have an authority problem).
I love my clients' backwardness that they actually willing to pay me what I'm charging them.
I hate my clients' employees who are even more backward, but whom I have to work with.
I hate the state for busting my balls with all the paperwork they shove down my throat.
lookin' for one? watcha payin'?Comment

love the job, pay is crap though
So, in the meantime, I'm reading and studying on ways to get my own side ventures going...which would complement perfectly.FM

Re: Do you hate your job?
I love my job! I'm my own boss and I get to decide who I'm gonna work with.
I deal with investments. The money is excellent! Usualy I work 6 hrs 4-5 days a week!
Since I have a knowledge of a neurolinguistic programming I can quite easily "manipulate" my clients towards their best decision - dont get me wrong I'm doing good for them and they usualy love me for that (if they even realize what they have done - the majority has no clue about shares anyway ...)♪♫•♫♪•♪♫•♫♪•♪♫•♫♪•♪♫•♫♪•♪♫•♫♪• אין סוף •♪♫•♫♪•♪♫•♫♪•♪♫•♫♪•♪♫•♫♪•♪♫•♫♪•♪♫•

Re: Do you hate your job?
My job was pretty good, although a lot of people would just hate it. I was a financial analyst at a big pharma company. So, it was a cube and computer job...but one where I had unique US-wide responsibilities, which kept things interesting. That made it good and bad...pay was great, hours sometimes sucked, people were great, pressure sometimes could suck... It did let me feed a serious weekly record shopping binge.
Now I'm back in b school, studying my ass off so that I can do more along the same lines, but for even more money.

Did you just neurolinguistize me into responding to this?

Re: Do you hate your job?
My day job is the randomest thing in the entire world. I was temping in NYC to afford living and DJing here and after hitting rock bottom and literally being about to move back to Boston a girl at one of my gigs asked me when my next show was and I told her there probably wouldn't be one because I was broke and my temp agencies weren't doing shit. She told me she actually worked for a temp agency and since she wanted to hear me play again and not leave nyc she'd get me some work-even if it was "bland." She called me a day later apologizing because the only thing she had for me was something no one at her company wanted to give out because of how bland it was. It was data entry in the facilities department at Ann Taylor (for those who don’t know, Ann Taylor is an upscale women’s clothing retailer powerhouse). I almost said no because I still had a shred of thinking that I was better than doing certain shit-but then realized I was in debt to every friend I knew and was living off of one slice of pizza a day and water…so I took it. Data entry basically wasn’t that bad because I could listen to headphones all day and go through tracks. Long story short I now work as an Asst Manager in the facilities dept in Ann Taylor managing the facilities for about 300 midwest and westcoast stores but since I started the headphone shit as a temp nobody gives me shit about it. I listen to music all day and run the facility shit through the internet. It’s an awesome job for me because of the headphone thing and it pays alright. I don’t hate my job but I cannot wait to do music full time.
Whore.

Re: Do you hate your job?
I did hate my job up until about 2 weeks ago when I left it for an unpaid internship to finish the requirements of my grad program. What I'm doing now is definately more rewarding and interesting, but I have no form of income so I'm going to have to go back to waiting tables or living off of student loans for a little."Dream as if you''ll live forever, Live as if you''ll die today." -- James Dean --Comment
