So there has been a lot of talk in the past years of this happening. Last year, I remember a discussion (http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/...nver+marijuana) about Denver trying to decriminalize it, but I dont know how that ended up.
If this is truely on the ballot, all you fochers better register and vote!

Yes it is on the ballot. Last year the same measure was on the ballot for only the city of Denver and it passed. In Denver, if you are caught with less than ounce of weed and your over 21, they couldn't give you a ticket based on city law, but they could ticket you based on state or federal law.
Now they are widening the measure to make it statewide and if it passes, then if you are caught with less than an ounce of weed and are over 21, you will not get a ticket based on state law. However, there is still a federal law, but I think it is probably a big hassle to prosecute someone under federal law.
