DJ KAI [YOSHITOSHI, AZULI, DJ-KAI.COM, NYC]
A rising star from New York’s house scene, DJ/Producer Kai has gained a strong reputation for the electro-tribal-funk sound of his DJ sets and floor filling dance productions. With a fun filled blend of funk, electro, or tribal, Kai always keeps the crowd moving with unexpected twists and turns throughout the night. PETE ONE [AMP, BPMCHICAGO.COM]
Born in beginning of 80's in Poland, he attended an international music school at the age of nine, where for four years, he studied the history of classical music and took piano lessons. In the mid-90's he fell in love with performers like Orbital, Future Sound of London, and the Prodigy. Soon after he bought his first pair of turntables and taught himself the art and science of mixing records. His style of music can be described as nasty, deep, and sexy futuristic sounds. His biggest influences include international DJs such as Sasha, John Digweed, Deep Dish, James Lavelle, and Steve Lawler.
DAVE T [FADERWAVE.NET, DJDAVET.NET]
Dave's percussion background and understanding of composition has helped set him apart from his peers. Although Dave has dabbled with Dj'ing since 2003, he has accomplished a great deal in Chicago since becoming serious about the decks in the fall of 2005 playing multiple gigs at Zentra Nightclub, Vision Nightclub, and Wet. Dave currently holds a weekly Wednesday night residency on Faderwave.net.
