Now this is blatant: Newsweek opens this week with a story about Afganistan on the cover of every edition... except for the US edition which has a story about Annie Leibowitz on the cover..

I'm not sure biased is the right term here.
But it is a reflection of how the US is often, (not always), looking inward at themselves and not internationally - as you would expect a 'superpower' to do.
The lack of available international news coverage is shocking sometimes (you can find it for sure, but you have to work hard)
