His first essential mix was early summer last year, this summer he joined the regular line up at radio one with Tong and has been hosting some of the Radio one live shows that they do.

Personally i loved his essential mix from 2003 - certainly one of the best of the year imho!

I think he started as a resident at Clubclass in Maidstone and now has a monthly residency at The Gallery,Turnmills called Fandango.
Though I am there most times I rarely hear his sets as its always very packed in that room, when that night is on.

                        "

NIC FANCIULLI MIXES NEW ALBUM FOR DMC
Yes, as Nic told Xpander in his interview from April this year, "It's nuts, one minute you're working your arse off trying to get somewhere, then all of a sudden you're working with your heroes. It's awesome!"
Awesome indeed, Nic has achieved so much for a youngster and his devoted efforts have finally paid out big time. In Ibiza Nic's extensive dates for Cream at Amensia plus Tong's Pure Pacha and Yoshitoshi's own nights have considerably raised his profile over on the white isle this summer. Having recently celebrated his 25th birthday out in Ibiza with a hot mix on Radio 1, he has a great deal more to celebrate! His recent addition to Radio 1 as a resident DJ further seals his destiny as a global wave maker.

It is no surprise therefore to learn that DMC have harnessed this power for their second instalment of the Mixmag Live series to be released this October. The CD showcases Nic's exceptional talent as he skilfully displays his production talents, even adding extra layers of sound between mixes to give extra texture and depth. Tracks selected include Zoo Brazil featuring Emma 'Tonight'; Lars K's 'Get A Fix'; A Studio featuring Polina's 'S.O.S'; Buick Project's 'Chancer' and the amazing Paulo Mojo's '1983'.

With some golden ears, the talented Nic has been ever busy with remixes and some of these have been hammering at our ears all summer including on Yoshitoshi, Chiapet's 'Westworld' and The Dish's 'Flashdance'. Then there's been the follow up to 'That's More Like It', a huge re-edit of Tears for Fears' 'Shout' and the list and beats go on?

'Mixmag Live Mixed by Nic Fanciulli' is to be released next month on DMC. (09/02/04)
