yeah, the RRR (pic below) parties were great and food and drink included.. cant beat it
Great party...one of the defining moments of the whole week for me was when James Holden played this Petter track there ("Some Polyphony" - you can hear it on Holden's new mix). Standout track. The crowd was already into it before then, but when that beat kicked in and there was this real sense of how it grabbed everyone's attention..and everyone seemed to share this collective "oh shit, this is EXTRA tight!" kind of moment. It was touching.
Then again, maybe it was just me. We were all wasted.
also, pack at least one good hoodie. I think it hit 60 degrees the last couple of nights I was there. jamie was there with me in front of the marlin... there were nothing but hoodies standing/sitting everywhere
