First of all I would like to say thanks for the invite gregor and congrats on many years with bring the beats - and hopefully their are many more to follow.
The event was held at "it is not a deli"...let me try to paint a little picture for you...it is what i would think independent artist bring their art to have displayed...you can buy them too if you wish...now when you first walk in it seems like it would be like a deli/cafe...a nice place to come during the day just to sit and enjoy some conversation, food and some drinks with some friends...could be wrong as i am not from the area and this was first time going to the place...then you go through this little hallway to the back where there is this room with more tables, and artwork but was no bigger then a living room and kitchen put together...very intimate....
we arrived to the event at about 930 no one really there yet as expected...had a chance to meet some of gregor friends and girlfriend all really nice to people, even had a chance to meet luke fair...really nice guy...george always a pleasure running into you m8
the warm up dj was very good played some really nice deep house to start the evening...everyone just kind of bobbing their heads gettng into...
at around 11 or so we had the pleasure of John Do gracing the decks...WOW...all of us (4) was in awe...awesome track selection...he had us (the crowd of about 100 peopleor so) just dancing away...John was dancing loving his time behind the decks....a sea of smiles was had by all...the floor was moving....just a really great vibe...i am so glad i came and very greatful for the invite...it was just what the doctor ordered...a very solid night of good fun
sorry no pictures as evidence as we where not allowed as respect to the artists
thanks again Gregor for putting this event on...one of favorite events i have had the pleasure to enjoy in Toronto and congrats...
Cheers Colin
