yeah was talking with this guy the other day and he was going on about COD2 release, saying its better than BF2142 and other bf games.

i said he was wrong but havent played COD2 to know any better.

anyway, imo BF series is best fps out there

im going to get bf1942 as well that game rocks as well.
how many of you still play that?

I never really did. Played it a couple time...it was alright.

A word of advice....start on your badges as soon as you start playing. I got 1500 points and 2 ranks last night by getting 3 badges.

yeh cant play online yet, been playing single player a bit
i think the newbie guns are gay but the rest of the game is everything i expected it to be.
is there a way you can improve ranking on singleplayer to unlock the decent guns?
im not sure why the guns are worse in the future. bf2 guns are so much better at killing than bf2142 guns.

Believe me ...the weapons get way better as you unlock the better versions. The Assault light assault and Recon assault rifle are deadly once you learn how to use them. Laying demo paks and blowing people up as they walk through doors is one of the coolest gameplay elements in any game I've ever played.

And no, you have to play on ranked servers to gain points.
