sheesh. talk about not knowing what uer doing......

they should title it pioneer DJ's after 1990 if hawtin and digweed and the rest are what they call pioneers. there was a lot of electronic music around since the 20's.

someone needs to buy herbert deutsche's book. or at least give the guy a call. shit.

Oh yeah, you cant forget about that pre- 90's rave till dawn happy synth shite.


I cant blame them for starting with Hawtin, because Plastikman was the pioneer for me when it comes to EDM. It was his experimental grooves, trippy effects, and thumping basslines that got me into the scene. And sure, tons of artists dabbled in various forms of electronic music starting in the 20's I guess, but i dont lend my ear to that so often either. Im looking forward to checking it out.
