    MY laptop died last night!

It started making those horrendous HD clicking noises and you could hear the parts of the harddrive being loose and not working! ARGH!!!!!!

The good news is that I got a new macbook a few months ago-the bad news is-I had fucking everything on my XP Laptop-pictures, Soulseek, webdesign programs etc etc

It could be worse I know-at least now I still have a cpu but it still blows ass

The eternal problem: always do backups, but we all think that HDD crashes happen always to the others.
I have lost quite a lot of data due to harddisks crashes. I now have a RAID5 solution on my files server at home.
