I care so little about Gmail that I have no clue what a gmail invite is. Can you not sign up unless someone invites you?

Google email with 1 gig of storage. The catch, they get to read and put advertisements in any/all emails sent to you. But its not a person doing the reading, its search algorithms looking for key words in those emails and then inputting an Ad which corresponds with that word. I love mine, still need to try and upload a HUGE game or something to myself, and leave it in there.

I think its cool, I could have a friend email me a set while being out doing something. Get home and have it there, ready to download. Plus, you could use it as online storage, so that you can access multiple things/files from anywhere you are. It definetely has its advantages.

tried the system tray mail notifier?

You can choose how Gmail notifies you when you get new emails. The types of notifications you can customize depends on your device. Want to get more out of Google apps at work or school? &nbs
