wait a minute...wasn't she a techno dj back in the early 2k's? I'll have to listen to this to find out what she is doing these days.

but big ups to her for getting a track on Bedrock. I just hope it's up to a lot of the standards that label has.

In addition to her "relentless" techno tracks and djing, she has also been playing out (and producing) more housy tracks under the Barbara Brown moniker for quite a number of years now.

Both mixes this week were pretty good. Digweed played some really nice tracks in the middle of his show and the Mashtronic mix was entertaining as well. All in all the quality of the Transitions show in the last week was pretty good (again) imo. Very diverse pick of guests and some unusual names under them...yummy.

the last five pryda songs i heard all pretty much sounded the same...it sounds like he's just trying to churn out tracks for money. the guy needs to take some time and work on his sounds rather than putting roughly the same stuff all the time.

welllll i think you have to give the people what they want sometimes. it might go against the genre, but i think what people call progressive hasn't actually been going anywhere for a while (with exceptions of course).
if you've got your own sound/style, might as well work with it. i'd git busy if i heard that song in a club

nothing wrong with a musician trying to make some money IMO

Frankfurt does sound like some of his older stuff - he's got a few new tracks and is working towards an album now. Thankfully there is some variation at least!

Does anybody else think the second track (6-12 minutes) is a remix/cover of Underworld - Rez? It's not obvious until about 10 minutes in.
