EU Wants to Regulate Internet Video

The vastness of big brothers ambitions never ceases to amaze. Truly heroic proportions of arrogance and ignorance.

They're strangling us. It's time for a little rev-o-loo-tion IMO...no to the european constitution should only be the beginning of a total breakdown. I'm starting to dislike that community more and more...sticking their nose into everyone's business, and every goddamn proposal is about limiting rights or paying more, never about serious protection/benefits/positive shit that will make me like the EU.

obviously just a lot of pressure from the networks that be because they are losing money to newer media. it's always some big company(ies) trying to protect their investments.i say the solution is to de-regulate television, not the other way around.

All I have seen in the past year is media business trying to crack down on anything internet-related simply because of MONEY. We're not clients, we're product-buying cattle that should preferrably buy more and more and more. I'm no harline socialist, but there is going to be a point that capitalism in this form will be unable to uphold itself IMO.

ya don't confuse the situation in places like the US, where rights are being usurped by the gov't with regularity, with capitalism. A true capitalistic society has as few laws as possible...only what is NEEDED.

No, that description is too narrow. Socialism is more about the welfare state, redistribution and that shit...other than that I was merely trying to outline that although I'm opposed to capitalism the way it exists now, I'm not per se in favour of guys like chavez, Castro or whoever fits that shoe

I was only refering to socialism in the context of this thread bro. Other than that, socialism is:
                    - unions hindering our economy
                    - work less, earn more mentality
                    - suck out the rich, donate to the lazy
                    - women can vote, horses can not

Nah, the above might be a charicature, but you know what I'm getting at (btw, this shit is way off topic you commie treehugger)
