Music is essential for the expression of non material ideals and energies. Music colors our surroundings with emanations from the highest vibrational fields. It allows us to escape all limitations in our thinking and very existence.

Re: Telemarketing nightmare
I just tell them to never call me again or hang up directly...ffs I wonder who the people are who get a call in the evening and buy a insurrance on the phone just because somebody makes you an offer. If there would not be enough dumb sheep, this whole telemarketing would not even exist.Comment

Re: Telemarketing nightmare
on a sienfield episode once jerry picks up the phone to a telemarketer
Telemarketer: "blah blah blah"
Jerry: "sorry i cant talk right now, can i get your number and i'll call you back"
Telemarketer: "sorry sir we cant do that"
Jerry: "i guess you dont like people calling you at home"
Telemarketer: "nope"
Jerry: "now you know how i feel"
HANGS UP THE PHONE
(it went something like that.... anyone got the clip?)
That made me crack up so hard. i waited a yr til i finally picked up to a telemarketer and did it. Had the time of my life.
Funny how when you dont want them they call once a week and when i was waiting to do that it took nearly a yr."Nobody ever bought a cd because it had a good signal to noise ratio" - 'David Moulton'Comment

Re: Telemarketing nightmare
That's a riot! I used to do telemarketing, and the worst thing that could happen was for you to call and ask for someone who had recently died -- just ruined your whole night, and for a job as shitty as telemarketing, that's really saying something. For that reason, I now make an effort to involve death somewhere in the call if someone should have the misfortune of calling to try to sell me something unsolicited.
Example: years ago, someone called to offer to sell me some vitamins. After keeping the guy on the line for an absurd amount of time (which is the other way you can ruin a telemarketer's day), I said, "You know, I didn't want to give you the satisfaction of reacting to your call, but this is too much. I don't know who put you up to this, but as I'm sure you're aware, my father was bludgeoned to death by a bottle of your vitamins just last week. I don't find this very funny, and if you call me back, I'm calling the police." Click.
I kinda wish I could've stayed on the line to hear his reaction.
This, however, takes it to a whole new level. Genius!!!Comment

Re: Telemarketing nightmare
Nope. Gotta remember you're not talking about anything where the government is involved. Also, you have one person on the call who consents to it being recorded (as opposed to a third party surreptitiously recording a private call), and in most circumstances, that's really all you need.Comment
