It's funny you mention that a few years ago i was a trance uploader and
so was everyone else on that forum ( Trancetraffic.com ) so i decided
to change my uploading pattern. I started to look more for prog and house sets
since no one else was uploading those styles.
Sure enough i was abused then because of that but i kept on with that style of music
( not that i only listened to trance then )
Eventually i got fed up and moved to another site ( themixingbowl ) at the same time
i was curious about tribalmixes - slash was struggling and i noticed. I decided to
leave TMB and help out a skinny site with barely enough users to survive, and i helped
him build it up to a point where my mission was done.
Tribalmixes.com was running fine lots of uploaders and rippers fresh sounds
everything was good.

Now i was without a site to upload, i took a break and soon realized
that i missed it so i started slowly posting on mercuryserver.com maybe last year at this time.
I started to feel comfortable here no pressure, upload when you want
download from allover the places since i have a good ration on all the sites.
And that's when it hit me - i want to retire here i'm almost 100% sure
that when i leave ms that will be it for me. i will get a 56k modem
and not upload to any site probably just sit back and listen to the
terabyte of music i will have collected over the years.

I honestly think this is the longest letter i have ever written in my life.
but it felt good telling my story.

oh btw i have over 100 gigs of trance i still like it but not as much as G-Pal.

Gatz,

That is quite an acheivement for someone to have commited so much to the comunity over the years. I realy enjoy having access to such a talented pool of DJ's without these sorts of sites and the dedication of users such as youself i'd be left to listen to the local hords of handbag house loving crap jocks.
