So I need to give you guys a little background of my situation. On May 29th I married the love of my life and she was previously married with 2 kids Tyler and Tanner. Well I've love these 2 brothers as my own. Tyler the past few nights has had some really bad dreams. I stayed to talk with him, letting him know that it is all in HIS mind and he can defeat them. Think of it as a Yu-Gi-Oh! dual and that he can deal a better card (since that's what he's really into right now). Well tonight he had another bad dream and I told him that I loved him likes he's my own son. He told me "that's because you are". OMG. I just about cried. This really showed how much they care about me and that I'm doing the right things with them. Just thought I'd share that with you'll because that made me feel so good.

being a parent to someone elses child is about the hardest thing to do.
i know, i have a stepmom. we used to barely be able to stomach each others presence.
much different now that i'm older.

It never would have worked out if I didn't have this bond with those boys. No matter how much I love Marie but it's true. Also, Everyone always says they look like could be my children. Tyler looks just like me. And yeah I know what you are thinking it isn't a one night stand that I don't remember.

That's awesome...especially since there are so many deadbeat dads out there. It's just great that you could take two children who aren't yours and love them like your own. That really shows a lot about your character! Good luck!~Pam

its amazing to be loved and especially by ur loves children.. thats a huge defeat that uve accomplished... i would be heart broken if i had a husband with kids, and they hated me.. congrats.. ur a great role model to those kids keep it up!

I've been with Tanner for more than half his life since he was 2. He'll be 5 in October. Tyler is 7. They are the 2 most beautiful, smart kids ever. Tyler is in the 2nd grade but is already reading on the 5th grade level.
I know I partial but can anyone host some pics for me. I'd like to show them.

You know what kind of ticks me off. Is there dad told me one time that he doesn't want them calling me "dad". I was like they should say whatever comes natural to them. Well they used to say "dad" I mean "Neil" and correct themselves. Now they don't even do that. They call me Neil. I'm wondering if he has anything to do with this.
