    Perfecto Presents::South America - Hernan Cattaneo

    I was just listening to this mix in the car today after a long break from it; its some great stuff! I got ahold of this cd courtesy of my friend's brother in early 2003 when Hernan Cattaneo wasn't yet as well known a dj as he is now, but it made a great first impression.

      Though not a fan of Perfecto ... have to agree this cd does have some strong points.

              Great cd! I personally like the 2nd disc better than the first (although both are good), mainly for the way he starts it out.

                          I think its an underrated & timeless classic - 2nd CD especially. The first time I saw Hernan was at a Perfecto night in 2001 - simply dark & progressive - you could tell then he was going to be one hell of a DJ.

                          This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

                                                  I wouldn't say its in my top 10, but it's still a good cd nonetheless.
