ABBASSO: LAST CALL

It's the end of an era -- for real, this time. As of 10/31, Abbasso is no more. We were originally planning to do the final party on Halloween night, but unfortunately, Abbasso just learned that they need to be completely cleared out by then, so this Friday 10/20 is the only night that we can do it. So, apologies to all of the other events going on that night.

Our old friend Ian from NYC (whom you may remember from the legendary John Howard and Mazi parties at Abbasso) will hopefully be able to make it on Friday to perform alongside some of the local DJs who frequented the hallowed dungeon decks over the last few years.

The lineup:
8:00-9:00 Randy Masiello
9:00-10:00 Brandon Gill
10:00-11:00 Jamie Tyler
11:00-12:00 Ian Shearson
12:00-1:00 Chris Eberhart
1:00-2:00 Deviant
2:00-3:00 Cloud 10

There will be plenty of drink specials as Abbasso does its best to clear out inventory. I hope that you can stop by for one last dance.

i remember my first gig...was bloody nervous. friend decided it would be "fucking funny" to throw me in the middle of the night, full dancefloor and all. needed a few drinks just to calm down. managed not to fuck up that night, but learned a few gigs later what its like to take the needle off the wrong record. hellooooooooo silence!

god, that was in 2001...

anyways, good luck. and remember...always bring as much music as you can carry...never know when another dj won't show up.
