^^^ Exactly, it's not hard to tell the dodgy ones from the not dodgy ones. Ask lots of questions and you will work it out on their answers.
Look at the photos of the gear they're selling. Is it a photo off the pioneer website? Or is it a photo of their setup in their bedroom? If you need further proof ask for a photo with them in it with the setup or them holding a card with something you request written on it.
nikolic - I've looked over many of the Aussie auctions for this sort of thing over the years, and I've never seen any which didn't appear to be legit.
