i'm super glad everyone is enjoying this phenominal set of luke's. as i've said so many times before, we in toronto are sooooo lucky to have him spinning here regularly. his music, his persona and his dedication are exactly what this scene should be all about.

but the real praise for this piece goes to the people in buenos aires; mauro s for recording the set and electocute for getting it to luke. i cannot begin to estimate the number of great things i have heard about the scene in argentina. the most friendly people, the gorgeous venues and of course the magical, out of this world events they are hosting.

roman candles...thousands croaching down on breakdowns and jumping in unison as the bombs break...an overall vibe that sounds just too good to be true.

speaking with max graham's pa a while back, she mentioned that max's recent gig at pacha was the best of his career. and every time luke comes back from this oasis he seems to be dazed for weeks.

most recently i have had the chance to correspond with an amazing talent named ricky ryan who is putting together some funky, groovy, incredibly uplifting mixes and who is an overall super guy. his passion for the scene is unprecidented and is most definitely reflective of their scene as a whole. look for some of his beats on our site soon.

buenos aires is most definitely #1 on my places to visit. thanks again electocute and mauro s for passing this gem on for us all to blaze till the sun comes up. and once again thanks to chemicalbeavis and all the ms crew for hosting the set for mass distribution. you guys are the best. don't need to tell you to keep up the good work because i know you will.
