The have shorter battery life, lower frequency response and the signal-to-noise ratio is worse BUT... if you do get one, at least get rid of the original earbuds. They're rated pretty poorly and severely degrade the sound quality even more.
And someone mentioned about the refurb'd Zen... you can now get the 20GB Zen Sleek Photo for $69.99 from Creative. Not a bad deal. The 30GB Vision: W was on sale the other day for $219 but sold out quite quickly.
