That was fun to watch. Both guys make interesting points.

          Re: Letterman vs O'Reilly...

letterman is no where near as funny as he used to be

and when it comes to politics hes just a fence sitter

he should stick to comedy and stay out of politics

has anyone noticed how lame hes become since he became a dad?

i think hes concerned that his son might see some of the dirty jokes he used to do

          bring back the old dave.
          this new one sux

He's still funnier than most other talkshow hosts IMO. And he deffo makes some good points too, completely pwns O'Reilly i think.

What makes you say that? Don't know what he's like, but in this interview he's making some valid points in a very direct way while being in the role of the interviewer.

No offence, but I think the US media need more guys like him approaching politics in a way that the common man understands it better, gets informed and becomes interested again rather than another comedy show.

The Roman poet Juvenal already pinpointed it in the first century AD: "Panem et circenses" (bread and circuses). The way to pacify a society is numbing it amply with entertainment and food...

Ditto! "You're putting words in my mouth just like you're putting artificial thoughts in your head."

This is the first time that I see Letterman, but he sure as hell can host a show on Belgian TV too!

He used to be on Dutch TV but for some bullshit reason the show isn't aired anymore: one of the very few shows i wouldn't skip.
