Seeing how people are shamefully stealing links and giving the world access to what we strive to share within the MS community, I am going to try and implement a free file sharing platform based on the space + bandwidth available to us on our multiple servers.
Access information to this will be provided in a subforum in the P&R forum. Obviously the peeps who are regulars on here will be upgraded to have access to the subforum.
The few important criterions are mutl-admins, unified login (i.e. single login + pass),
this softwre will be for sharing sets ONLY and several members (whom the team has observed) including the team members, will be given access to administer this software so as to remove bad links / copyright material from there.
If there is a free file sharing software (PHP based) that helps with this process, I'd like to hear your input to test it out.
Else if this idea seems beyond the realm to manage, let me know and we leave things the way it is. But I would definitely like to protect the interest of those who take so much time in uploading stuff for members to share.
