so last night i got to catch the tragically hip live, at a general admission show with maybe 2000 people. I was one row of people from the front, and it was one of the best concerts i've ever been to, and i've seen alot of good shows. Honestly, this show will go down in rock history for the group of fans lucky enough to get to see it...

gord downie, and the rest of the guys...were on fire. downie was possessed. just a madman. dancing, gyrating, gesturing to the crowd, jumping around, kicking his mic stand all over the place, hell he was even using a bandana to play matador to an imaginary bull on stage.
The band was tight as can be, and they played some very rare songs. To hear Last of the Unplucked Gems was such a treat. That and gord's insane intro to it...just watch the video i posted. its pretty damned entertaining...
