surely does. very important in public speaking. i think it goes back 101. Make sure what you say is clear and understood. He actually did both of thoses, but forgot the whole thinking process and that it is voting season.

This is just typical of America thinking too deep into the situation. No room for error for dems, but tons of room for republicans. Now let's all go put the dinner on our families.

        Re: kerry, yet again....

You know I was thinking about this controversy last night and it suddenly occured to me just how much BS it really is.

Essentially the controversy has boiled down to: Kerry should have known better that his remarks would've been taken out of context and therefore he should've been more aware of particular soundbites he's putting out there. The pathetic part is that the democrats are berating him all the same as the republicans.

Yet again, let's discuss who's saying it and how, rather than what they actually are saying...for shame

but that's the thing, they werent out of context, they were yet another part of a systematic behaviour he exhibits in being an oppurtunistic gaff. if they stopped making him a poster boy for the party, views would be different, but hte party openly encourages him and places him in vital gov't roles.

at least the troops have a sense o' humor

I know this belongs in the nonsense thread, but it's too good to throw it in the cesspool. (http://media1.break.com/dnet/media/2006/11/novone1.jpg) "Did I not tell you to get a decent education?"

i love that picture... kinky, what is like having a functional government that isnt hated by 80% of the population? we look every day, and somehow, find another fuckup, another idiot and another example why nothing gets done since GW1......

It's fuggin great man. Like yesterday for instance the Belgian government decided to postpone paying it's bills up to 6 months in order to keep the checks and balances artificially in line. Result: a good number of contractors that work for the state will find themselves bankrupt and out of business within a few months. I bet you haven't seen that one in the US ande A, jagzemash!

not exactly, but we've seen a number of local gov'ts (and once the federal gov't) shut down...

maybe the Belgians should ask the Chinese for some money too
